Wounded – Wounded by the Church
Within the Church we use some incredibly significant words like love, forgiveness, mercy and grace. These are all wonderful blessings that God has poured out into our lives that should cause us to rejoice but they are also expectations that He has placed on us as His children. They must not be empty phrases that we use but passions that we strive to live out. This passion to be imitators of God manifests itself within the Church where we are conduits of God’s love, forgiveness, mercy and grace to each other. It is within our wounds that we are allowed the opportunity to live out new life. This is all to God’s glory proving that His Gospel is real.
