New Here?
Our Kids Ministry (birth-4th grade) meets every Sunday during the worship service at 9:30. Doors open for check-in 15 minutes before each service.
Every Sunday we explore the truth of God’s Word using a curriculum called The Gospel Project. We love our curriculum because it is gospel- centered, chronological lessons based on biblical truth.
We teach kids to love Jesus through live Bible teachings, prayer, scripture, singing, crafts, activities and games at their specifc age- appropriate level.
WHEN YOU ARRIVE
We encourage you to arrive 10-15 minutes early to allow for a smooth check-in and to get familiar with the Kids environments.
Look for the “Kids Check-In” sign, located at the bottom of the stairs. There, a Blessed Hope team member will help register your family at the Ipad.
Next, your child will receive a name badge/sticker and you will be given a specific security badge/sticker tag for a secure pickup.
We will then assist you and your child to their classroom and answer any questions you may have.
Our top priority is for your child to learn and grow in a safe and secure environment. Every leader in the Kids Ministry has been screened through an application, passed a background check and completed ministry training.
Upon Check-In, you and your child will be given a name badge/sticker with matching codes from the check-in kiosks. Every child should be checked in and WEAR a name badge/sticker the entire time they are present in the Kids environment. Parents should maintain their portion of the name badge/sticker the entire time they are on campus.
Parents picking up their children must bring the portion of the name badge/sticker. This allows our staff and safety team to identify appropriate persons picking up their child in kid hallways & environments
If we need to contact you during the service, we will send you a text message. At that time, you can exit the service and make your way downstairs to your child’s classroom.
We would love to come alongside you and your child to help them have the best Sunday experience. If your child needs special assistance, please reach out to us via email at [email protected] so we can best serve you and your child.
Core Values
We believe that ministry is best done at eye level. Every child is unique and in a different place developmentally. We meet children where they are and challenge them to grow into the fullness of God’s love.
(Jeremiah 1:7-8, 1 Corinthians 13:11, 1 Timothy 4:12, 1 Peter 2:2)
We believe that the Gospel of Christ is the greatest truth in all creation and we are to center our lives around the gospel through Scripture. We disciple our children to center their lives solely on the truth which God has breathed out in his Holy Word.(Deuteronomy 6:4-6, Psalm 119:11, Psalm 119:105, Hebrews 4:12, 2 Timothy 3:16-17)
We believe that prayer is a vital part of the Christian life. We commit ourselves to modeling the importance of prayer, giving children opportunities to pray, and encouraging children to maintain an intimate relationship with God through prayer.
(2 Chronicles 7:14, Ephesians 6:18, Philippians 4:6, Colossians 4:2, 1 Thessalonians 5:17. James 5:16)
As a church we play a vital role in discipling the next generation. We are committed to equip, encourage, and support families in the growing of their faith.
(Deuteronomy 6:4-9, Psalm 145:4, Proverbs 22:6, Isaiah 54:13, Joel 1:3, Mark 10:14, Luke 17:2)
