Welcome to the church in Philadelphia. It is a church that is celebrated for being faithful. These are the believers who did not give in to the persecutions and temptations that surrounded all the churches. They stood firm in their faith and devotion. Jesus announces to them the open door of opportunity. The same open doors that are ours today if we are willing to walk through them.
