Sermon on the Mount – Anger
Jesus ended the last chunk of Scripture with the clear call for our righteousness to surpass the Pharisees and teachers of the law…and that if it didn’t, we would not enter the Kingdom of God. Why not? Because the righteousness that God requires is first and foremost a matter of the heart. And the lesson that Jesus continues to teach is that if it doesn’t exist in the heart…then it doesn’t exist.
