We’ve all been guilty of it to a degree – saying things we don’t really mean. Whether it’s a “little white lie,” an exaggeration to prove a point, something to make us look better, or just an outright untruth – we’ve all been down that road. As Jesus continues in the sermon on the mount, he tackles the issue of making impressive sounding false claims and tells us that anything other than total honesty is from the enemy.
