Unspoken – Trauma & Abuse
There is very little in our world that is as tragic as trauma. It wounds…cuts…and scars deeply. Often times, trauma happens because we are stuck in the middle of a broken world (we see this in war and the loss of loved ones)…but far too often, trauma happens because of abuse. And often times, abuse happens at the hands of those that are called to love and protect us. When that happens we can feel ashamed, unloved, and even undeserving of love. But even then – we can take shelter in the truth that we are loved by the God of the Universe and that he calls us beloved children.
